About Trail Community Ministries
Who we are
The Salvation Army has been serving the Trail, and greater Trail, area for over 100 years. Throughout the years our services and programs have changed, innovated, and adapted to fit the needs of the community. We believe that God is absolutely amazing and wants to partner with humanity as He works to redeem the world.
We believe that God transforms lives, and as people truly follow Him we will see communities radically transformed by His love. This is our desire and motivation as we serve our community.
Our mission in the Trail community
We believe that no person is undeserving of help and that all people are created in the image of God. Currently, we have two locations in Trail: our Church (2030 Second Ave.), our Thrift store and our Community & Family Services known as Sally’s Place and Food Bank located at 1460 Cedar Ave.
These three aspects of our ministry work together to meet the holistic needs of everyone in our community; physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our team
Meet the dedicated team who serve our church and community with compassion and commitment.
Captains Lynn & Joel Torrens
Our Corps Officers / Pastors oversee the ministries offered in Trail. Together with an amazing team of talented staff and volunteers we work together to bring Hope to our community. Our heart and passion is to see people come to know Jesus, be transformed by His love, and reach the fullness of who they are created to be.
If you are in need of a pastor for any reason we would love to be there for you! Please contact us at any time!
